It is one dedicated battery powered, credit card length DVR designed for portable, mobile DVR applications. It is a go-anywhere mini-standalone Micro DVR with high resolution, DVD quality video and external CCD/CMOS camera support. Micro DVR provides scalable video and audio compression to record up to 32 hours in Full D1 quality on solid state drives.

The record time could be much longer if motion detection is active or lower frame rate is used in surveillance. Generally, there are six level record modes, LQ/LP/EP/LP/SP/HQ for record options. Interface to integrate with other system, customized video resolution, bit rate, motion detection, time stamp, video Lap Timer, LANC are available.
Furthermore, it provides AV output of replayed video. So you can watch recorded video on TV monitor directly.

H264 Micro Pocket DVR is small enough, only the length of credit card, to fit in your hand and offer broadcast quality video. Deffierent from previous Micro Pocket DVR, it uses solid state drive, removable small SD/SDHC Card. There are various SD/SDHC cards for option now in market, whole series SanDisk SD/SDHC cards are supported.. FAT32 standard file system is used in video storage, therefore the video files can be accessed by any PC via card reader.

H264 Micro DVR keeps all functions as its predecessor but it has more.

Powerful audio processor in Micro DVR makes the MIC gain adjust possible, so no powered MIC is required, Versatile MIC can be used and different gain of MIC can be selected for different noise environments. Motion detection is also embedded in Micro DVR. An analog audio video output is supported to connect to external TV monitor to preview the recorded video. A single cable is designed to connect all external devices so no hassle cables entangled together.

Furthermore, for customized orders, the MIC and video camera can be connected to one single cable to get rid of those flexible connectors. Additional are also optional interface. For outdoor sports, a removable belt clip is designed as standard accessory.

A powerful Ethernet port is also designed in H264 Micro DVR. It can be used to transfer video files or synchronize video files, time and settings etc to PC. Because of this Ethernet interface, Micro DVR can also be used as a video server to remotely monitor the video over the LAN or even Internet.

Besides of large capacity battery, AC power is also available and can be swapped with battery any time without the interruption of operation of H264 Micro DVR. Meanwhile, Micro DVR also supply power to any external camera with adjustable output voltage. The Micro DVR comes with Industrial 3500mA Lion polymer battery for standalone power and replaceable. It can support much longer working time than before. It will be charged automatically by on board charger while AC power is used. Car cigarette power adapter can also be used to power Micro DVR or charge battery.

H264 Micro DVR digitizes analog video into crisp Full D1 video stream at a full frame rate up to 3Mbits/s. The compressed video and audio are transferred to SD/SDHC card synchronously. As the H264 file is fully H264 compliant, it can be used for direct view and video editing. Micro DVR also offers advanced event handling with video motion detection, alarm notification, Lap Timer and professional LANC remote interface. Micro DVR also features LED, or Buzz for status indication.

H264 Micro DVR can be used in almost unlimited number of situations, like digital security surveillance, body worn DVR, remote monitoring, spy, car/motorcycle racing, helicopter, buses, wildlife filming, bike, adventure, skydiving, ski/board, snowmobile and extreme sports etc.
