ISA VBI Card

The latest internal VBI data broadcast receiver from ZowieTek, it has smaller size, lower cost, higher reliability, quasi plug and play and many other new features. Low level VxD based drive, DLL driver and PC application software is available. The PC add-in is ISA bus based.

VBI data broadcast Receiver is connected to an incoming TV signal from virtually any source including cable, off-air antenna for reception of data from the TV signal. It has an onboard VHF / UHF / Cable TV tuner and can accept either a base-band composite or video input signal by software selection. When the card is configured with the desired TV channel, data mode and authorized packet address, the receiver continuously monitors the TV signal for any Teletext data. It captures it and delivers it to the PC bus for subsequent decoding by the PC driver under the control of the receiving software.
